Nettleton – Stephanie Kemp, 49, passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, in Nettleton, Mississippi. She was born on Thursday, August 11, 1977, in Tupelo, Mississippi, to Dean Holland and Joan Katwaski.

Stephanie was a one of a kind person who never met a stranger and knew how to make life a little more fun. Her family describes her as very outgoing and truly the life of the party. She had a big personality, a lively spirit, and a way of bringing laughter and energy wherever she went. Stephanie loved being outdoors and enjoyed swimming, fishing, and riding four-wheelers. Whether she was spending time with family, enjoying the outdoors, or simply having a good time, Stephanie made memories that those who knew and loved her will carry with them forever.

On September 26, 2009, Stephanie married Danny Kemp, beginning a marriage filled with never-ending love, family. Her greatest joy was the people she loved, and although she is no longer here to share in life's celebrations, the love she gave will remain close to the hearts of those who knew her best.

She is survived by her husband, Danny Kemp; her children, Alexandra Holt (Michael) and Doris Long; her grandchildren, Ashton Franks, Jace Hughes, Paisley Garcia, Faith Malone, and Khalid Jones; and her brothers, Joseph Royce (Larissa) and Brandon Royce (Dannie).

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dean Holland and Joan Katwaski.

Visitation will be from 12 p.m. until service time Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at Pegues, Tupelo.

The funeral service honoring Stephanie will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at the Jefferson Street Chapel of Pegues Funeral Directors.
