Stacy Lee Stacks
Ballardsville Community- Stacy Lee Stacks, age 60, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, January 6, 2026. He was born on December 27, 1965, to Luther Clark Stacks and Betty Jo McKissick Stacks.
Stacy was an industrial equipment mechanic by trade, a role that suited him perfectly because of his natural talent for fixing things and understanding how they worked. He had a gift for bringing broken equipment and old trucks back to life and was never afraid to get his hands dirty. When he was not working, Stacy found joy in the outdoors. He loved fishing, riding four wheelers, and going mud riding, often joining group trail rides and making lasting memories with friends. Being outside, surrounded by nature and good company, was where he felt most at peace.
Above all, Stacy cherished his family and friends and valued the time spent together and the bonds he shared with those closest to him. He also had a special place in his heart for English bulldogs. He truly loved, loved, loved them, and they brought him endless happiness and companionship.
Stacy will be remembered for his hardworking nature, his love of the outdoors, and his loyal and generous spirit. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his brother, Marty Stacks; sister, Kimberly Stacks; half sister, Kim Pendley; aunt, Corinne Keith; uncle, Billy McKissick (Faye); two nephews, Conner Stacks and Cooper Stacks (Shan); and one niece, Chelsea Stacks.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Tracy Stacks; niece, Kylie Stevens; grandparents, Bill and Oline McKissick; uncle, Kenny Keith; and special aunt, Sharon McKissick.
