Tupelo - Seth Aaron Stanley, 38, was born in Johnson, Kansas, to Scott Stanley and Toni Holt. From the sunrise of April 14, 1988, when his life began, to the sunset of September 16, 2026, when his earthly journey came to an end, his life was a precious gift that will forever be remembered
Seth married the love of his life, Megan, on April 25, 2019, and they shared seven years of marriage together until his passing. He spent much of his working life in plumbing and contract work. Seth was the biggest family man, and his family says he was always up for a challenge. He loved people in general and had a way of enjoying life and the many things that brought him happiness. He especially enjoyed anything involving water, including fishing, and he also played some disc golf. Music was another great love of his, and it was something he truly enjoyed.
Seth was preceded in death by his father, Scott Douglas Stanley, and his grandparents.
He is survived by his wife, Megan Cochrell-Stanley; mother, Toni Douglas (James); son, Clarence Elijah Stanley; stepchildren, Tatiana Cochrell, Gabriel Garrison, Jolen McKenzie and Jace McKenzie; two brothers, Jathan Stanley (Kara) and Nolan Stanley (Olga); three sisters, Brandy Walker, Tia Stanley (Zack) and Kimberly Stanley; grandmother, Stella Walden; mother-in-law, Vivian Wells; brother-in-law, Justin Wells; and lots of extended family that he loved dearly.
Visitation will be from 12 p.m. until service time on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at Pegues, Tupelo.
The funeral service honoring the life of Seth will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at the Jefferson Street Chapel of Pegues Funeral Directors with Bro. Frederick Adams Sr. officiating.
Pallbearers will be Tahjai Wells, Justin Wells, Cochise Lincks, Corey Shanks, Chris Banik and Lanny Clark Jr. (bubba).
