Tupelo- “Russ” James Russell Brown, III passed away peacefully Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at Methodist South Hospital in Memphis, TN., at the age of 64. He was born on October 4, 1961, and was the son of the late James Russell Brown, Jr. and the late Reba Kay Hill Brown.
Russ is survived by his sister, Lisa Brown Lindsey and husband, Wayne, and brother Roger Brown and wife, Gina; aunt and uncle, Janice Hill Lomenick and husband, Eddie; nieces, Madison Moore Pool and husband, Jeff, and Marion Moore Perlman and husband, Andy; cousins, Suzye Lomenick Sheffield and Merrie Margaret Lomenick Hughes and husband, Andy; and many other beloved family and friends.
A graveside service will be 3 p.m. Thursday, December 4, 2025, at Glenwood Cemetery in Tupelo. Russ was a casual person; in honor of him, the family requests dress to be casual to formal.
