BeldenRuby Bell Faulkner, 82, died Saturday, February 4, 2006 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in New Albany after an extended illness. A Lee County native, she was born May 17, 1923 to the late Ruben and Claudie Marshall Boyd. She was a retired seamstress and loved to play dominoes and fishing. She was a member of the Baptist church.

A Stateroom Service will be 3 p.m. Thursday at the Jefferson Street Chapel of W.E. Pegues with Rev. David Westmoreland officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Survivors include her grandson, Jason Clay of Blue Springs; two great-grandsons, Adam and Alex Clay; five nieces, Diane Nobles; Louise Smith, Margaret Dykes, Ruby Dillard and Patricia Boyd; three nephews, Gerald Brown, Tommy Lynn Boyd and James Boyd.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Troy Faulkner

Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
