Ron Heitmeyer

Miss - Ronald Ron C. Heitmeyer, 63, died Tuesday, March 22, 2011, at The North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, Mississippi after a brief illness. He was born in Elyria, Ohio on October 2, 1947 to Carl Frank and Wanda Kathryn Munz Heitmeyer. He was a Certified Public Accountant who spent the majority of his working career in construction and industry. He worked 17 1/2 years for Saudi Aramco in Saudi Arabia. He has been a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church since 2005 and served as Vice-President and briefly as Treasurer of the congregation. He was an avid and devoted golfer and was a member of Big Oaks Golf Club.

Services will be 3 p.m. Sunday, March 27, 2011 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Tupelo with Rev. David MacKain officiating. Burial will be in Martin Cemetery in New Albany. W. E. Pegues Funeral Directors of Tupelo is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 40 years, Nancy Brown Heitmeyer of Saltillo; one sister, Jean MacKain of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; two nephews; three nieces; 14 great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl Frank and Wanda Kathryn Munz Heitmeyer.

Visitation will be 4 - 7 p.m. Saturday, March 26, 2011 at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Holy Trinity Luthern Church Operating Fund, 1305 Lawhon Drive, Tupelo, Miss 38804.
