Obituary for Robby D. Mills, Jr.
Mantachie - Robby D. Mills, Jr., 57, died Wednesday, November 30, 2011, at The North Mississippi Medical Center after an extended illness. He was born in Baldwyn on July 7, 1954 to Robby and Hassaline Mills. He was a member of the Living Waters Community Church in Mooreville. He had a passion for being on the road and as a truck driver he traveled extensively. He was an avid outdoors man, and enjoyed hunting, fishing and NASCAR. His greatest enjoyment in life was spending time with his grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, December 3, 2011 at Living Waters Community Church with Rev. Horace Barnes and Rev. David Timms officiating. Burial will be in Stephens Cemetery. W. E. Pegues Funeral Directors is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Patsy Mills of Mantachie, MS; one daughter, Kim Letson (Jeremy) of Belden; four sons, Randy Seger (Derinda) of Parchman, Ray Seger (Cindy) of Smithville, Roy Seger (Heather) of Mantachie and Ronald Seger (Carol) of Nettleton; twenty-one grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one sister, Linda West of Mantachie; two brothers, Bobby Mills of Shannon and David Mills (Carolyn) of Peppertown; three aunts, Hazel Grammer of Shannon, Betty Donahue of Tupelo and Pauline Ryan of Unity; many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Dian Grant; his niece, Stephanie Kent.
Pallbearers will be William Kidd, Timothy Ellis, Corey Bishop, Allen Ellis, Chris Gant, Jason Kent, Jackie Kent and David "Bubba" Mills, Jr.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Reggie Cox, Shawn James, Michael Wood, Austin Kidd, Nickey Gant and Neal Gant.
Visitation will be 4 - 8 p.m. Friday and will continue on Saturday from 10 a.m.until service time at the church.
