Ralph H. Stone, age 95, passed away Monday, June 12, 2023 at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, Miss. He was born December 22, 1927 in Plattsburg to Albert and Lillian Stone. Ralph was a graduate of Plattsburg High School where he was captain of the football team. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy and worked many years as a fire fighter. His greatest joy came from spending time with his family.
Ralph leaves behind his wife, Viola St. John Stone of Tupelo; six children, Deborah Benscoter, Pam Hughes, Rick Stone, Jan Reeves, Robert Stone, and Ralf Stone, Jr.; his brother, Leon Stone; 14 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 14 siblings; and a grandson, Jacob Benscoter III.
