Patsy J. Boyd

Belden—Patsy Jean Boyd, age 73, passed away Monday, May 1, 2023 at the Sunshine Healthcare Facility in Pontotoc. Born in Lee County on October 17, 1949, she was the daughter of Harvey and Mattie Croft Boyd. Patsy worked for Tecumseh Products for many years until her retirement. She enjoyed watching television with her daughter.
Patsy leaves behind her sister, Mary McKinney of Belden; brothers, James Boyd and wife, Swanda of New Albany, Donald Boyd and wife, Bonnie, of Saltillo, Johnny Boyd of Saltillo, and Rory Boyd of Pontotoc; her sister-in-law, Brenda Boyd of New Albany; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Lajuana; a brother, Tommy Boyd; and a sister, Sharon Wages.
Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at the Jefferson Street Chapel of Pegues Funeral Directors with Bro. Michael Baker officiating. Burial will be in Lee Memorial Park. Visitation will be 9 a.m. until service time Wednesday at Pegues, Tupelo.
