Pat Yant
Tupelo- Patricia Ann Yant, age 86, passed away suddenly on Sunday, February 8, 2026. She was born on June 6, 1939, to Cecil Estes and Mary Ellen Morgan Estes, and spent her life rooted in faith, family, and quiet dedication.
Pat was a wonderful woman who left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing her. Kind-hearted and deeply devoted to her family, she showed her love through steady presence, thoughtful care, and unwavering support. She dedicated 50 years of service to Renasant Bank, where she was known for her strong work ethic and loyalty. Even after retiring, she continued to serve part-time, a testament to her commitment and the relationships she built there.
A lifelong member of Oak Hill Community Church, Pat’s faith was the foundation of her life. She was a strong Christian woman whose actions reflected her beliefs through compassion, generosity, and love for others. In her quieter moments, she found joy in tending her yard and flowers, working puzzles, and cooking for those she loved. Pat will be remembered as a caring, loving soul whose legacy lives on in the many lives she touched.
She is survived by her children, Billy Yant (Monda), Mitchell Yant (Deborah), and Pam Hardenburg (De); grandchildren, Jason Yant (Jordan), Jamie Yant (Jay Mar), Jessie Hawks (Zack), Kimberly Yant, Jonathon Yant (Anna), Dylan Renick, and Dalton Renick (Lydia); step-grandchildren, Craig Lee, Tiffany Lee, and D.C. Hardenburg (Dawn); and a host of great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Mary Ellen Estes; siblings, Bud Estes and Evelyn Willis.
Visitation will be 5 until 8 p.m. Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at Pegues, Tupelo.
Services honoring the life of Ms. Pat will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at the Jefferson Street Chapel of Pegues with Bro. Josh Tate and Bro. Danny Dabbs officiating. A graveside service will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jason Yant, Jonathon Yant, John Tyler Yant, Austin Nichols, D.C. Hardenburg, Craig Lee, Dylan Renick, and Dalton Renick.
Honorary pallbearers will be the Joe Estes, Chad Willis, and Brian Estes.
