Pamela Hill

Tupelo – Pamela Hill, 65, passed away on October 15, 2026. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend whose greatest legacy was the love she gave her family. Her memory will live on through the stories shared, the moments cherished, and the generations she touched.

Pamela was born on February 2, 1961, to Sharon Focht of Piqua, Ohio. She graduated from Shannon High School and worked at Urologic in Tupelo. She shared 48 years of marriage with her devoted husband, Stanley Hill, building a life and family filled with love.

She was a loving mother to Natalie Barron (Matt) and Mallory Dodson (Shawn), and a proud grandmother to Adalynn Barron, Conner Dodson (PV2), Braelynn Dodson, and Haisley Dodson. She cherished cheering Adalynn on at cheerleading every Friday night, shopping with Braelynn and Adalynn, watching Haisley grow, and supporting Conner through Basic Training. Pamela also enjoyed sewing, planting flowers, spending time with her family, and caring for her beloved dog, Sally.

Pamela is survived by her husband, Stanley Hill; her daughters, Natalie Barron (Matt) and Mallory Dodson (Shawn); her grandchildren, Adalynn, Conner (Kaley), Braelynn, and Haisley; her mother, Sharon Focht of Piqua, Ohio; and her sisters, Melinda Curtis of Dayton, Ohio, and Monica Cross (Darrell) of Fort Wayne, Indiana.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ron Gunkle; her mother-in-law, Bobbie Lou Hill; her father-in-law, Benford Hill; her grandmother, Mammaw Ree; and her grandfather, Ralph W. Hutchinson.

Though Pamela is no longer with us, her love will remain in the flowers she planted, the memories she created, and the family she cherished. She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered.

Visitation will be from 12 p.m. until service time on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at Pegues, Tupelo.

The funeral service for Pamela will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at the Jefferson Street Chapel of Pegues, with Bro. Tim Winters and Bro. Billy West officiating. Burial will be at Unity Cemetery in Saltillo.

Pallbearers are Matt Barron, Shawn Dodson, Conner Dodson (PV2), Darrell Cantrell, Tim Hill, Austin “Buck” Thompson, and Jase White.
