Myra Neal

Tupelo- Myra Jean Neal, the daughter of Ludie Milan and Ida Criddle Milan died March 16, 2022 at her home. She was born in Belmont on November 29, 1934. She is the wife of the late James Henry “Nick” Neal. Myra retired after 23 years of a long and enjoyable career from North Mississippi Medical Center.
Myra is survived by her son, Illiad Connally (Jewel); three daughters, Vicky Self (Brian), Yvonne Sharp (Benny), and Wanda Neal (Pam); nine grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren; one sister, Carolyn Hamn; and two nieces, Myra George, and Sherry Enlow.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ludie and Ida Milan; husband, Nick Neal; sister, Helen Smith; and two nephews, J. D. Smith, and Roger Smith.

Visitation will be 12 until 4 p.m. Saturday, March 19, 2022 at W. E. Pegues, Tupelo.

A service of remembrance will be 12 p.m. Sunday, March 20, 2022 at the Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Bro. Dwayne Daily officiating. Burial will follow at Belmont City Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Derek Kelly, Skyler Plaxico, Michael Newcomb, Todd Mills, Zack Peterson, and Rusty Plaxico.
