Saltillo—Michael Wayne Lansdell, 65, passed away Friday, March 15, 2024, at his home in Saltillo, Mississippi. He was born in Baldwyn, Mississippi January 1, 1959, to Gene and Barbara Lansdell. He enjoyed traveling, fishing, and collecting baseball cards. He relocated to Michigan City, Indiana, before moving back home to Tupelo, Mississippi. Mr. Lansdell retired from Walmart after 20 plus years.

He is survived by his two children, Nicole Bridges (Daryle), and Joshua Lansdell of Roseau, MN; seven grandchildren, Arlin Greenhill, Lindsey Greenhill, Mary Greenhill, Emily Gardner (Landon), Issac Lansdell, Ethan Lansdell, and Aaron Lansdell; two brothers, Bobby Lansdell of Arkansas, and Butch Lansdell of Switzerland; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Gene and Barbara Lansdell; one sister, Candace “Candie” Blansett; and one cousin, Amanda Lansdell.
