Martin Clark “Marty” Stacks
Tupelo – Martin Clark “Marty” Stacks, 61, passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2026 at North Mississippi Medical Center. He was born on Tuesday, July 21, 1964, and lived his entire life in Tupelo, Mississippi. He was the owner and operator of MCS Electric and Mechanical and took great pride in being an electrician. There wasn't a job he went on where his trusted sidekick, Max, his fur baby, wasn't riding shotgun with him.
Anyone who knew Marty would agree that he was instantly likable. With his larger than life personality, Marty had a way of making his presence known the moment he walked into a room. He was famous for running late, but his family never seemed to mind. In fact, they eagerly awaited his arrival, knowing it would be accompanied by one of his entertaining stories and plenty of laughter.
Marty never had a meal he didn't enjoy and was always ready to gather around the table with family and friends. While he appreciated good food and good company, nothing meant more to him than his family, whom he loved deeply and devotedly.
Marty was also passionate about his country and his beliefs. Alongside his faithful companion, Max, he proudly attended countless MAGA events and enjoyed supporting Donald Trump and the causes he believed in. He was also a faithful member of Living Waters Chapel in Corinth, MS. His enthusiasm, humor, and unmistakable spirit will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Marty is survived by his three children, Conner Stacks, Chelsea Stacks, and Cooper Stacks (Shan); two grandchildren, Jacob Miller and Joseph Miller; one sister, Kimberly Stacks; one half sister, Kim Pendley; his aunt, Corinne Keith; and his uncle, Billy McKissick (Faye).
He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther Clark Stacks and Betty Jo Stacks; his brothers, Stacey Stacks and Tracy Stacks; his niece, Kylie Stevens; his grandparents, Bill and Oline McKissick; his uncle, Kenny Keith; and his special aunt, Sharon McKissick.
Visitation for Marty will be Friday from 12 p.m. until service time at Pegues, Tupelo.
Funeral services honoring his life will be at 3 p.m. Friday, June 12, 2026, at the Jefferson Street Chapel of Pegues Funeral Directors with Bro. Michael Stamps and Bro. Casey Conti officiating.
