Listen to Obituary

Benton, Arkansas – Linnie Martella Cooper (Stults) Croft was born on March 31, 1944, in Tupelo, MS and went home to be with Jesus at the age of 81 on Monday, August, 4, 2025, after an extended illness.

She lived her life showing tremendous amounts of love, kindness, and compassion toward all those she called family or friends. If you ever became her friend, she would do anything in her power to help you accomplish your goals. For most of her life, she lived loving the time she was able to spend with her family. Every minute with her family seemed to make her the happiest person in the world. She always had a beautiful smile on her face. She also enjoyed spending time outdoors. She raised and trained horses and loved planting and growing vegetables and flowers. She also enjoyed designing, decorating, and creating arts & crafts. Her goal behind doing all these things was to share them with all her family and friends. Her family believes everything she did was about giving to others.

Martella is survived by her children, Robin Stults, Tim (Kendra) Stults, Christina (Mark-Jon) Nichols, Lonnie (Cindy) Croft, Greg (Mary Lynne) Croft, and Tonya (James) Parker; and grandchildren, Sarah Kate Stults, Andrew Croft, Brandon Croft, Heather Denise Croft, Bridgit Dobbs, TJ Dobbs, Heath Christian, Christopher Christian, and Britney Volz.

She was preceded in death by her spouse, James T. Croft; parents, Audie Franklin Cooper and Sally Addis Cooper; her daughter, Angie Dobbs; grandson, Colton Stults; and siblings, Talmage Cooper, Pauline Helms, Maxine Wigginton, Alvis Kenneth Cooper, and Dwight Cooper.

Visitation will be 12:30 p.m. until service time on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at Pegues, Tupelo.
