Maks Riznar

Tupelo - Maks Riznar, 90, passed away Monday, January 1, 2018, at North Mississippi Medical Center. Mr. Riznar was born September 22, 1927, in the country of Slovenia and later immigrated to the United States. In the 1960's, Maks and his wife, Anne, moved from Greendale, Wisconsin, to Tupelo, where they made their home for over forty years. Mr. Rizner served as the Vice-President of Mid-South Packers in Tupelo for many years.  He is survived by his wife of over 60 years, Anne Riznar of Tupelo; one daughter and one grandchild. Mr. Riznar was preceded in death by his parents. Expressions of sympathy may be left at www.peguesfuneralhome.com .
