Lois "Anne" Liles

Saltillo - Lois Anne Liles, 90, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 27, 2026. She was born on Sunday, April 19, 1936, to the late Robert and Mildred Carl.

On Christmas Eve, December 24, 1958, Anne married the love of her life, Robert D. Liles Jr. Through every season of life, they remained each other's greatest source of strength, building a life rooted in devotion and love until his death.

Anne loved traveling and she embraced every opportunity to experience the beauty and wonders the world has to offer. Anne was blessed with a creative heart and a deep appreciation for arts and crafts. She delighted in exploring a plethora of artistic pursuits, finding inspiration in creating beautiful things with her hands. Later in life, Anne discovered a passion for golf that quickly became one of her greatest joys, working with junior golfers and rating golf courses. Her enthusiasm for the sport, combined with her encouraging spirit, left a lasting impression on everyone who shared the fairways with her. Whether traveling to a new destination, spending a day on the golf course, or expressing herself through her many creative endeavors, Anne lived with curiosity, grace, and an enduring appreciation for life's simple pleasures.

She is survived by her two children, Sandra Liles Coley of Kentucky, Kimberly Liles Davis of Saltillo; three grandchildren, Meghan Davis, Connor Davis, both of Saltillo, Robert M. Liles and his wife, Brooke, of New York; three siblings, Mildred Beran and her husband Eldon, of St. Louis, MO; Donna Carl of WA, Robert V. Carl and his wife, Connie, of WA; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Robert D. Liles Jr.
