Corinth - Larry Charles Followell, 83, passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth. He was born on February 18, 1943, in Columbus, Indiana, to the late Aubrey Leon Followell and Wilma Katherine Bocock Followell.
Larry and his life partner, Ann Tally, shared 46 wonderful years together until her passing. Devoted to one another, they built a life centered on love, companionship, and mutual support. Side by side, they worked, traveled, and created countless cherished memories. Larry loved Ann unconditionally, and their bond remained steadfast throughout the years. Together, they worked with Tom’s Delivery Service, managing a dedicated delivery route and taking pride in the customers they served.
Larry had a lifelong love for sports and enjoyed following a wide variety of teams and athletic events rather than cheering for just one favorite. He especially enjoyed golfing, watching horse racing, and keeping up with NASCAR. His enthusiasm for sports and competition brought him much enjoyment throughout his life.
He is survived by his two sons, Chuck Tally and Carlin Tally; grandchildren, Colton Tally and his wife, Liz, and Shana Tatum and her husband, Jon; great-grandchildren, Emily Anne Tally, Easton Tally, Hana Tatum, Trace Tatum, and Oliver Tatum; sister, Brenda Henderson and her husband, Gary Briggs; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; significant other, Ann Tally; and two sisters, Linda Taylor and Judy Koger.
A graveside service honoring Mr. Larry will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 6, 2026, at Tupelo Memorial Park. Pegues Funeral Directors have been entrusted with care of his arrangements.
