Tupelo - Kenneth Westmoreland, 69, passed away at his home on Friday, July 3, 2026. He was born on Friday, October 26, 1956, to his parents Joe and Betty Jo Westmoreland.

Kenneth dedicated his career to Westmoreland Glass Company, where he served as Vice President and took great pride in his work and the people he worked with. He lived life with an adventurous spirit and was never one to shy away from hard work. Whether he was riding his Harley Davidson, or fishing out on the water, Kenneth appreciated the kind of life that kept him outdoors and on the move. No matter where life took him, his favorite moments were those spent with his family. His beloved Great Dane, Knox, was a faithful companion through many of those days.

Kenneth was a member of Richmond Baptist Church. He loved aggravating his family and friends to get a smile or a laugh out of them. He enjoyed being surrounded by the people he loved, and he had a way of making life more entertaining. Those who knew Kenneth will remember a man who worked hard, enjoyed life, and made lasting memories with the people who mattered most.

He is survived by his mother, Betty Jo Westmoreland; son, Jonathan Westmoreland and his fiancé, Alexandra Bailey; step-son, Jarrett Betts and his wife, Haleigh; two grandchildren, Jenna Gebhardt and her husband, Jon Michael, and Bryleigh Betts; one great-grandson, Jon Marcus Gebhardt; sister, Denise DuBois and her husband, Paul; brother, Eric Westmoreland and his wife, Bobbie Dale Westmoreland; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joe Westmoreland; son, Kenneth Marcus Westmoreland; brother, Joe Westmoreland Jr.; and sister, Gail Westmoreland.

Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at Pegues, Tupelo.
