Kathy Sheffield Fowler Tupelo- Kathy Sheffield Fowler 63, a Tupelo native and lifelong resident, died Sunday, December 4, 2016, at North Mississippi Medical Center after a sudden illness. She was born July 25, 1953, in Tupelo to Floyd Milton and Jewel Cole Sheffield. She was a member of the 1971 graduating class of Mooreville High School. Kathy was married to John Fowler until his death on January 14, 2016. Kathy worked 15 years as a bookkeeper with Tommy Morgan Coldwell Banker. She loved caring for animals and doting over her grandchildren. Kathy was a member West Jackson Baptist Church. She was an accomplished pianist and organist and earlier in life served as the organist at Thomas Street Baptist Church for many years. She is survived by her daughter, Natalie Nichols (Daron) of Greenwood; two sisters, Brenda Gammill and Sherry McCarty (Jim) both of Tupelo; four grandchildren, Austin Savage of Oxford, Addison and Avery Nichols of Greenwood, and Abbye Nichols of Wynona. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband. Services honoring her life will be 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 5, 2016, at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W.E. Pegues with Rev.
