Jonathan K. Clark
Tupelo- Jonathan Kennedy Clark, age 57, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, December 11, 2025. Born on August 15, 1968, Jonathan was the beloved son of David Lindsey Clark, Sr. and Joyce Kennedy Clark Swain.
Jonathan lived a life filled with music, heart, and quiet passion. A gifted guitarist, he found joy in creating and sharing music, whether offering a familiar tune to brighten someone’s day or losing himself in a melody of his own making. He was also a devoted Ole Miss fan, cheering on his Rebels with unwavering loyalty.
Jonathan will be remembered for his gentle spirit, his warm and steady presence, and the genuine kindness he extended to others. Those who knew him, whether for a moment or a lifetime, felt the sincerity and thoughtfulness that defined him.
He is survived by his mother, Joyce Clark Swain of Tupelo; brothers, Chris Clark of Tupelo and David Clark, Jr. (Patsy) of Counce, Tennessee; and nephew, Austin Clark of Atlanta, Georgia.
He was preceded in death by his father, David Lindsey Clark, Sr.; step-father, Willis Swain; and a special friend, Barbara Spear.
Visitation will be 12 p.m. until service time Sunday, December 14, 2025, at Pegues, Tupelo.
Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, December 14, 2025, at the Jefferson Street Chapel of Pegues Funeral Directors with Minister Chad Ramsey officiating. A private burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
