John Thomas Webb

North Auburn Community—John Thomas “JT” Webb passed away at his home on May 7, 2023 from clear cell renal cancer. He was the third son born to Ernest and Geneva Webb on November 5, 1950.
John was a faithful and active member of Mayfield Church of Christ. He retired from FMC Technologies as Manufacturing Supervisor in June of 2002 after 28 years of service. John was always happy on his tractor, tending to his garden or running his sawmill. He enjoyed sharing vegetables and his woodworking items with family and friends. He grew wildflowers and was amazed at God’s beautiful sunsets. John received much pleasure in doing for others.
John is survived by his wife of 40 years, Alisa Morrow Webb of North Auburn; daughter, Kim Jones of Tupelo; step-son, Eric Baker and his wife, Lia, of Concord, California; two brothers, Philip Webb of Mooreville and Fred Webb of North Auburn; many nieces and nephews; grandchildren, Hunter Jones and wife, Bethany of Jackson, Laken Wallar and husband, Caleb of Lake Forest, North Carolina, Wilson Jones and wife, Sarah Rachel of Tupelo; three grandgirls, Melia, Julieta, and Abril of Concord, California; and two great-grandboys, Charlie and Theo Webb Jones of Jackson.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, David and Doug Webb; sisters-in-law, Cindy Webb, Marian Webb, and Martha Sue Webb; and his in-laws, Frank and Helen Morrow.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 1, 2023 at 2 p.m. with visitation 1 until 2 p.m. at Mayfield Church of Christ in Saltillo. Pegues Funeral Directors has been entrusted with arrangements.
