John P. Swan Jr.

Guntown--John P. Swan Jr., age 75, passed away peacefully at his home in Guntown of May 19, 2023. He was born October 26, 1947 to John and Elizabeth Swan of Corinth. He became a member of the First Methodist Church in Corinth in 1959. John loved his family, his dog, and traveling.
He is survived by his wife, Betty; children, Sherri Heflin and husband, Keith, Sean Swan and wife, Chelle, Mike Davis and wife, Heather, Charlie Hamblin and wife, Christy; ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held from 2 until 4 p.m., June 25, 2023 at The Columns, 1635 Main Street in Guntown. Pegues Funeral Directors has been entrusted with the arrangements.
Memorial donations may be made to the Lee County Humane Society or Sanctuary Hospice.
