Harley Jayne Pannell

Harley Jayne Pannell, born April 23, 2025, in Germantown, Tennessee, peacefully passed away on Friday, August 29, 2025, at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital in Memphis, leaving a deep imprint on all who loved her. She was a precious baby girl, born to Jessica Orman Lavender, and Michael Dale Pannell, with striking red hair and beautiful, curious eyes that seemed to take in the world around her. Harley Jayne’s vibrant personality was as bright as her spirit. She was especially cherished by her mother, whose presence always brought comfort and joy to her days. Harley Jayne found happiness in being held close, gently swaying in her momaroo swing, and listening to music that soothed her. Though her time on earth was far too short, the love Harley Jayne brought to her family will forever remain in their hearts.

Harley Jayne is survived by her parents, Jessica Lavender and Dale Pannell; siblings, Matthew Pannell, Kennedy Romans, Madalen Pannell Crosby, River Romans, and Makenna Pannell-Howell; grandmother, Jayne Southerland; grandfather, Billy Wayne Henderson; aunts and uncles, John and Kayla Orman, Josh Orman, Jennifer and Randy Kemp, Will Pannell, Jason “Bird” Pannell, Jimmy and Zandy Pannell, Dustin Pannell, and Ashley and Michael McCarthy. She is also survived by her YaYa and PaPa, Dawn Pannell and Joseph McBride; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, James Michael Orman, and Jimmy Dale Pannell; grandmother, Wanda Henderson; and cousin, Lilyth Amalie Orman.
