ETHEL HANKINS
Skyline - Susie Ethel Hankins, 93, died Sunday, October 29, 2006, at her residence after an extended illness. She was born May 17, 1913 to the late Robert and Clara Mallett Landers. She was a member of East Main Church of Christ.
Services will be 2 p.m. Mondayat The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Bro. Gary Williams officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.
Survivors include one daughter, Anna Yancey of Skyline, two granddaughters, Melanie McGregor of Mooreville and Marsha Herndon of Wiggins; four great-grandchildren, Morgan and Matt Herndon of Wiggins, Roby Holley of Mooreville, and Steven Straily of Pontotoc; one sister, Ermie Hallmark of Saltillo; and several nieces and nephews..
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Hankins, and four brothers, Leonard, Aaron, Marion, and Alvie Landers.
Pallbearers will be Bill Martin, Perry Hand, her great-grandsons, and grandson-in-law, Michael K. Herndon.
Visitation will be 1-2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
