Eddie Sue Enlow

Pontotoc - Eddie Sue Enlow, 76, passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at Sunshine Nursing Home in Pontotoc. She was the daughter of the late Ed and Mammie Barrett.

Although Sue became bedridden in her later years, she remained strong in spirit and stayed closely connected to those she loved through the many phone conversations and messages she cherished dearly. Before her illness, she worked as a seamstress until her retirement in the 1990s. Sue also had a special love for flowers and was especially fond of the color purple.

She was a woman of deep faith whose unwavering love for the Lord was reflected each day through the beautiful smile that radiated from her. Sue found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved gospel music, and her family fondly remembers her sitting with a Yoo-hoo in hand while listening to the songs of Elvis Presley in her room. She also enjoyed watching game shows on television while savoring a vanilla milkshake.

Sue is survived by her three children, Scott Roberts (Donna), Princess Norris, and Ray Enlow (Audreana); ten grandchildren, Kristin Paden (Chancellor), Alicia Brown (Sammy), Lori Beth Belue (Rodney), Christopher Enlow (Bailey), Conner Enlow (Emma), Autumn Enlow, Dominic Enlow, Mordekai Enlow, Riddley Enlow, and Sawyer Enlow; six great-grandchildren, Mallory Brown, Christopher Brown, Eleanor Taylor, Calum Belue, Adeline Rose Belue, and Hudson Enlow; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her loving parents; one brother, Gilbert Barrett; and two sisters, Gladys Stanphill and Jewell Lamb.

Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until service time on Sunday, May 17, 2026, at Pegues in Tupelo.
