Donna "Dee" Jean Gish

Saltillo – Donna “Dee” Jean Gish, 63, passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2026. She was born on Thursday, June 27, 1963, to Raymond Rogers and Evelyn Hankins Rogers.

Dee's life was a beautiful reflection of her strong faith. As a devoted follower of Jesus, she always carried His love into every corner of her life with a servant's heart. She found great joy in caring for others and always aspired to become a full-time volunteer at the hospital and for the Salvation Army. As a faithful member of the Women's Aglow group, she found encouragement in worship and fellowship while strengthening the faith that guided her every step. Whether it was offering a listening ear, some encouraging words, or simply sitting beside someone in need, Dee believed that even the smallest act of love could make a difference.

Caring for her plants brought her a sense of peace, and quilting became a labor of love that she enjoyed sharing with those around her. Both of her hobbies reflected the kind of care she’d pour into every aspect of her life and the joy she found in creating something beautiful. Dee will be remembered for her gentle spirit and the love she poured into her family, her friends, and everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Dee is survived by her husband, Holly Gish; mother, Evelyn Rogers; siblings, Keith Rogers and Lisa Rogers; children, Dustin Harlow and Raymond Attaway; grandson, Dylan Harlow; and her lifelong friend, Ann Carr.

She is preceded in death by her father, Raymond Rogers; and mother-in-law, Patricia Fuller.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. Saturday, July 25, 2026, at Pegues, Saltillo.
