Obituary for Donald Wright Saltillo - Donald Wright, 73, died Sunday, August 21, 2011, at The Sanctuary Hospice House. A Tupelo native, he was born October 21, 1937, to Frank and Sallie Wright and was a graduate of Tupelo High School. He was retired as owner from Best Rubber Stamp and Engraving in Memphis. He lived in Saltillo for the past eight years and was an active member of First Baptist Church of Baldwyn. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 24, 2011, at The Saltillo Chapel of W.E. Pegues with Rev. Stanley Huddleston and Dr. Chuck Herring officiating. Burial will be in Lee Memorial Park. Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Marilynn Wright of Saltillo; two daughters, Debby Perrotta (Joe) of Atlanta, Ga. and Cathy Frederick (Benny) of Wheeler; one brother, Jim Wright (Peggy) of Tupelo; a sister-in-law, Brenda Wright of Tupelo; his mother-in-law, Elsie Griffin of Bradford, Tenn.; four grandchildren, Nicholas and Andrew Perrotta, Danielle Frederick Houston (Doug), and Trevor Frederick; a special family friend, Karen Bradley of Tupelo. He was preceded in death by his parents, his son, Danny Wright, and his brother, Bob Wright. Pallbearers will be Joe Perrotta, Nicholas Perrotta, Andrew Perrotta, Benny Frederick, Trevor Frederick, Doug Houston, Rev. Lynn Fair, Danny Bishop and Charles Meadows. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at The Saltillo Funeral Home.
