Connie Sanderson

Brewer – Connie Yvonne Sanderson, 70, died on Monday, August 24, 2026, at The Traceway Greenhouses. She was born on Thursday, August 9, 1956, to her parents, William Reuben Sanderson and Ruth Benson Sanderson.

For more than 30 years, Connie dedicated herself to Hickory Springs Manufacturing, where she worked as a data processor before retiring. She found great joy in the simple things in life, especially cats and spending time fishing. She didn’t just enjoy catching fish; she was perfectly happy to clean them, too. Her faith was an important part of who she was, and Brewer United Methodist Church truly held a special place in her heart. Later in life, she began journaling her days, capturing all the moments and memories she could. Her family will remember her for the laughter that seemed to come so naturally to her. Her joyful spirit, warm heart, and ability to find happiness in the everyday things will be deeply missed and forever remembered by those who knew and loved her.

Connie is survived by her brothers, Neil Sanderson (Mary Anne) and Darrell Sanderson; one sister, Carol Rush (Pete); and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, and one sister, Glenda Dye.

Pallbearers for the service are Holland Dye, James Dye, Cole Sanderson, Preston Sanderson, Gaylord Loden, and Tommy Davis.

Visitation will be at 9 a.m. until service time on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at Brewer United Methodist Church.

Services honoring Connie's life will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at Brewer United Methodist Church, with Rev. Darrell Sanderson and Rev. Wayne Napier officiating.
