Obituary for Charles Bell Saltillo - Charles Junior Bell, 81, died Wednesday, January 11, 2012, at his residence after an extended illness. A native of Paris, Miss, he was born March 18, 1930, to W.J. and Ruth Goforth Bell. He worked 32 years for the Ford Motor Company as a general superintendent in Chicago, Ill. The past ten years, he lived in Saltillo. He enjoyed playing golf and working in his yard. A private family Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 14, 2012 at The Saltillo Chapel of W.E. Pegues with Mr. Sammy Lansdell officiating. Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Joyce K. Bell of Saltillo; five children, Linda Waters (Mike) of Grenada, Sandra Edwards (Ricky) of Grenada, Clay Whitten (Glenda) of Saltillo, Jeannie Blackwelder (Billy Scott) of Corinth, and Chuck Bell; one sister, Louise Zachary of Southaven; two brothers, Noel Bell (:Hollie Field) of Coffeeville and Boots Bell (Beulah) of Water Valley; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Tommy Bell.
