Cassie Michelle Perkins

Clarksdale formerly of Tupelo - Cassie Michelle Perkins, 38, died on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. Born on September 20, 1987, she was the daughter of Mike Perkins and Suzanne Davis. She was a beloved mother, daughter, and friend.

Cassie had a radiant spirit that could brighten any room she entered. Her warm smile and kind heart had a way of lifting the spirits of those around her, leaving everyone she met a little happier than before. She was known for her beautiful, captivating blue eyes that reflected the joy she carried throughout her life. Cassie enjoyed playing soccer and found great happiness in painting, arts and crafts, and spending time on the water, where she embraced every opportunity for adventure. Her faith was an important part of her life, and she was a devoted member of The Orchard Tupelo.

She is survived by her father, Mike Perkins and his wife, Sherry, of Tupelo; mother, Suzanne Davis and her husband, Scott, of Tupelo; three children, Conner, Cameron, and Harper of Clarksdale; two brothers, Taylor Perkins and his wife, Janaya, of Starkville, and Joseph Davis of Tupelo; two sisters, Angela Shook and her husband, Trent Armstrong, of Tupelo, and Jessica Shook of Tupelo; grandfather, Fred Perkins of Starkville; aunt, Lynne Coleman and family of Hernando; and her best friend, Jerry of Clarksdale.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Holly Hughes of Pratts; grandmother, Barbara Perkins of Starkville; and grandparents, Lee and Susie Bailey of Clarksdale.

There are no services to be announced at this time. Pegues Funeral Directors have been entrusted with the care of Cassie’s arrangements.

The family would like to thank the staff, nurses, and doctors of the Intensive Care Unit at St. Francis Hospital-Memphis for their wonderful care, and the Mid South Transplant Team for their professional and compassionate service allowing Cassie to help save and improve the lives of others. The family also wants to give a special thanks to Cassie’s best friend, Jerry, for all the care, love, and support he has shown.
