Bobbie Miller

Bobbie Gene Miller of Mooreville went to be with her Lord and Savior on April 17, 2026 at Countrywood Manor. She was 94 years old. She worked for decades in Home Economics with the State of Mississippi and with a federal department. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Mississippi State University.

She loved to talk and could sit for hours talking about old times. Bobbie Gene’s grandfather was a Doctor and she talked about her father driving him in a horse and buggy to see his patients. She loved the Lord with all of her heart; there was no doubt about that. She had many friends. Two people that she called her grandchildren were Zoie and Zane Kilgore. They loved her so much and they had a bond between them that could never be broken.

Bobbie Gene was preceded in death by her brother, George Miller, her mother, Mary Miller, and her father, Robert Miller.

We would like to thank all of the employees at Countrywood Manor for treating Bobbie Gene with respect, love and dignity. She always told them what they were going to do and they would do it. Special thank you to Gina, Lisa and Stacey for the special care they gave Bobbie Gene. We also would like to thank the employees of Inhabit Hospice for the love and care she received from them. A special thank you to Lindsey and MaKayla who loved her as their own.

Pallbearers will be Allen Estes, David Estes, Zane Kilgore, Jimmy Sheffield, Ron Hussey and Mike Mitchell.

Honorary pallbearers will be the employees of Countrywood Manor and Inhabit Hospice.

Services will be Monday, April 20, 2026, at Andrew's Chapel on Highway 371 in Mooreville. Visitation will be at 2pm and the funeral at 3pm with Brother Lance Carpenter officiating. Burial will be at Andrew's Chapel with Eastern Star closing the service
