BERYL (COX) BRUNSON
TupeloBeryl Cox Brunson, 97, died Wednesday, February 1, 2006 at her residence after a brief illness. A native of Coahoma County, she was born March 2, 1908 to the late Robert Samuel and Lillian Josephine Birdsong Cox. She was married to the late Willie Brunson who passed away July 31, 1987. She was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Thursday in Tupelo Memorial Park with Rev. Steve Hurt officiating. W.E. Pegues Funeral Directors is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include her daughter, Billie Brunson Green and husband, Albert H. Green, of Jackson; two grandchildren, Henley Sims and husband, Kevin, of Austin, TX and Brunson Green of Las Angeles, CA.
She was preceded in death by her husband; one daughter, Sara Lynne Brunson, and one sister, Sara Ward Cox Akers.; one brother, Robert S. Cox.
