Barry Glen Roberts

Tupelo – Barry Glen Roberts, 69, passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2026. He was born on Sunday, May 26, 1957, to the late Esna Faye and Jamie Luther Roberts.

Barry was an open and kind man who genuinely cared about the people around him. He attended both Northstar Church and St. James Catholic Church. He married his wife, Pat, in 2005 and the two of them spent a wonderful 20 years together. In his free time, he loved to head out on the water with his fishing pole or ride around on his bicycle. After earning his associate’s degree, he spent 16 years working as a respiratory therapist at North Mississippi Medical Center. At home, he and his wife liked to sit down and watch old black and white films together. Everyone who knew him would tell you he had a special sense of humor and could always make the people around him smile.

He is survived by his loving wife, Pat Michael; children, Shay Roberts, Adam Roberts, and Cody Roberts; grandson, Cody Roberts; and siblings, Allen Roberts, Mitchell Roberts, David Roberts, and Lance Roberts.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Ann Adair.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until service time Wednesday, October 28, 2026, at Pegues, Tupelo.

The funeral service honoring Mr. Barry’s life will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday, October 28, 2026, at the Jefferson Street Chapel of Pegues Funeral Directors with Bro. Andrew Ledbetter officiating.
