Tupelo - Andy Christian, 62, a beloved lifelong resident of Mooreville, Mississippi, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 23, 2026, at the age of 62. He was born on July 6, 1964, and spent his entire life in the town that he loved so dearly.

Andy was a hardworking cattle farmer who dedicated his life to caring for the land and to raising his cattle. His cows were more than just part of his livelihood, they were something he truly adored and took great pride in caring for. When he wasn't tending to his cattle, Andy could often be found doing what he loved most and that was hunting, fishing, or just enjoying the great outdoors.

Andy will be remembered by his family, friends, and all who knew him for his bright, big smile. That smile was one of the things that made him so special and was a familiar sight to many people who knew him. His warm presences, hardworking spirit, love for his animals, and genuine appreciation for the outdoors will remain treasured memories for those who had the privilege of knowing him.

Andy is survived by his father, Ray Christian of Mantachie; his daughter, Andrea Beam (Richie) of Fayette, Alabama; his two grandchildren, Bella and Jasper; his two brothers, Scotty Christian (Lynn) of Belden and Randy Christian of Mooreville; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He is preceded death by his Mother, Jane Christian.

The family will have a private visitation to remember Andy’s life. Burial will follow at Auburn Cemetery.
