Obituary for Willie "Billy" Gann Verona - Willie Doyle Billy Gann, 51, died Saturday, August 13, 2011, at Community Hospice at Darlington Oaks after an extended illness. He was born in Pontotoc on February 17, 1960 to Roy and Elaine Robbins Gann. Services will be 11:30 a.m. Monday, August 15, 2011 at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. Brian Grammer officiating. Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery in Pontotoc. Survivors include four children, Shelly Gann Branam of Oklahoma, Billy Shane Gann of Pontotoc, Brittney Gann of New Albany and Brandi Gann of Alabama; one brother, Jimmy Gann (Felisha) of Nettleton; two sisters, Lynne Morris (Ricky) and Diane Carroll (Matt) both of Pontotoc; eight grandchildren, Madison, Austin, Nevaeh, Hayden, Baylie, Kayden, Kaylee and Dillon. He was preceded in death by his parents; his grandparents, Walter and Mattie Gann and Jim and Mae Robbins; two brothers, Dale and Jackie Lyn Gann.
