William Fowler

Obituary for William "Sonny" Fowler Shannon William Vester Sonny Fowler, 70, died Monday, August 29, 2011, at the Sanctuary Hospice House after an extended illness. A Nettleton native, he was born March 28, 1941 to Vester T. Jiggs and Laverne Young Fowler. He was a Baptist by faith. Most of his life he worked in the furniture industry. He loved electronics and his family. Memorial Services will be 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 31, 2011, at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. John (Ben) Raper officiating. Survivors include his mother, Laverne Fowler of Nettleton; two sisters, Brenda Ballard (Carl) of Carr Vista in Verona and Linda Knaack (Larry) of Tracy, California; two brothers, Robert Earl Fowler of Tallahassee, Florida and Marvin T. Fowler of West Point; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and one brother, Sammy Joe Fowler.
