Obituary for Tony Owen Tupelo - Tony Owen, 53, died Friday, December 2, 2011, at his residence after a sudden illness. He was born June 12, 1958 in Illinois. He owned and operated North Mississippi Cleaning Servcies of Tupelo. He was an avid Album Collector, loved riding his motorcycle and spending time with his grandson and step-daughter. He was of the Presbyterian Faith. Services will be 12:30 p.m. Monday, December 5, 2011 at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. Jim Curtis officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens in Columbus. Survivors include his wife, Michelle Owen of Tupelo; his daughter, Raquel Owen; his son, Chad Owen, both of Tupelo; his parents, Charlene and Jimmy Cook of Columbus; four step-children, Sophia McIntrie, Micaela McIntire, both of the home, Forrest McIntire of Tupelo and David Riley of Tupelo; one grandchild, Kane Richey; two sisters, Cindy Tingle and Lisa Richardson; two brothers, Jay Cook and Terry King, all of Columbus. Pallbearers will be David Riley, Chad Owen, Andy Mannings, Johnny Jones and T. K. Moffett. Visitation will be 10:30 - until service time Monday, December 5, 2011 at the funeral home.
