Tupelo formerly of Owensboro, Kentucky- Timothy Shawn Decker, 48, died Saturday, April 15, 2017 at him home. He was born September 12, 1968 to Cynthia Ann Baxter and Curtis Ray Decker in Owensboro, Kentucky. Tim had a passion for his career and was a very accomplished welder. He was a certified welder, underwater welder and titanium welder. He received accommodation in welding from the city of Tampa during his working life. He worked at various businesses including, the City of Tampa, Port of Tampa and cruise ships. He had such a depth knowledge of his trade, he was asked to write a manual for titanium welding. Tim was an avid DVD collector, he had over 300 DVD in his collection. In his younger years he enjoyed fishing. He loved his three dogs, Casper, Houdi and Buddy.
Survivors include his parents, Cindy and Curtis Decker of Bainbridge, Georgia; his daughter, Miranda Rose Decker of Bradenton, Florida; his brother, Curtis Decker, II of Owensboro, Kentucky; half-sister; Elizabeth Lora (Jose) of Miramar, Florida; his girlfriend, Kelly Truxal of Tupelo; six nieces; one nephew; five uncles and two aunts.
