Obituary for Terry Ewing Belden - Ellen Theresa Terry Ewing, 79, died Monday, December 12, 2011, at The North Mississippi Medical Center after an extended illness. A native of Washington DC, she was born July 3, 1932, to Alphonsus and Alice Crowley. She married Bryant Ewing on Nov.29, 1952. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and a longtime resident of Tupelo. She was a member of Tupelo Baptist Church. Services will be 11:30 a.m. Friday, December 16, 2011 at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues. Burial will be in Tupelo Memorial Park. Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Bryant Ewing of Belden; her children, Stacy Helen Ewing Morgado (Antonio), of Vilamoura, Portugal, Tim Ewing (Renee) of New Albany, and Pat Ewing (Melissa) of Pontotoc; seven grandchildren, Cristina Morgado, Michele Morgado, John Morgado, Stephen Ewing (Renee), Robbie Huff, Sawyer Ewing, and Tessa Ewing; one great-grandson, Samuel Bryant Ewing; her sister, Helen Boone (Dix) of Vero Beach, Fla.; her niece, Christine Wonsock of Vero Beach, Fla.. Pallbearers will be Doug Ewing, Donnie Ewing, Stephen Ewing, Robbie Huff, Pat Ewing, and Tim Ewing. Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
