RUBY FLOYD MANSELL
Mooreville – Ruby Mansell, 92 passed away Sunday, May 28, 2017 at the Greenhouses at Traceway. She was born on September 9, 1924 to Thomas Elihu and Rohoda Ellen Bates Floyd. Ruby married Elzie Mansell on August 17, 1944 and they were married until his passing October 29, 2008. Ruby enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family. She was Baptist by faith.
Survivors include her children, Hoyle R. Mansell of Mooreville, Teresa Holcomb (Ronnie) of the Furrs Community and Kathy Johnson (Gene) of Pontotoc; grandchildren, Tonya Harris (James) of Mantachie, Steven R. Mansell (Amanda) of North Carolina, John B. Barnett (Angelica) of Saltillo, Brandon Mansell of Mooreville and Belen J. Johnson of Pontotoc; great-grandchildren, Tamara Drury (Cody), Nathan Harris, Logan Harris, Walker Mansell, Laura-Kate Mansell, Peyton Mansell, Brayden Barnett and Branson Barnett; great-great-grandson, Zachary Drury and sister, Jesse Mae Floyd of Iuka.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, great-grandson, Weston Mansell and several brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at W. E. Pegues, Saltillo.
Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at the Saltillo Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. Tim Barber officiating and John Barnett providing the eulogy. Burial will be in Unity Cemetery.
