Ronny Scruggs

RONNY SCRUGGS   Tupelo - Ronny Scruggs, 71, passed away Saturday, February 27, 2016, at his home. He was born September 21, 1944 to James and Joe Kate McMaham Scruggs. Ronny accepted Christ at an earlier age at Harrisburg Baptist Church. He spent most of his work history in produce grocery business and later in life retired from Stone Container. Ronny loved to fish and work in his yard. There will be private family services held at a later date.   Survivors include his mother, Jo Kate Scruggs; daughter, Diana Denise "DeeDee" Maricle (Joe) of Denver, Colorado; grandson, Christopher Blake Maricle of Naples, Florida; brother, Jerry A. Scruggs (Linda) of Tupelo; sister, Janice Humphres (Larry) of Tupelo; nephew and special caregiver, Matt Humphres.   He was preceded in death by his father, James Scruggs.   Expressions of sympathy may be left at www.peguesfuneralhome.com .
