Reginald Ellison

Big Reg Ellison   Saltillo - Reginald "Big Reg" Ellison, 63, passed away Tuesday, August 2, 2016, at his daughter's home. He was born in Indiana on June, 14, 1953, to Gene and Martha Peck Coleman and was later adopted by his step-father, Harold Ellison. He married Gail Ellison Brown and they had six children. He was a stay at home dad and enjoyed taking care of his children. Big Reg was very outgoing and loved being in the outdoors to fish, hunt and camp. He also enjoyed playing pool and watching football, especially the Colts.   Survivors are his children, Regina Renee Speideol of Montpelier, Indiana, Heather Paxson of Mantachie, Rebecca Nicole Westrick of St. Clair, Michigan, Reggie Ellison, Jeremiah Ellison and Stephanie Opal Ellison all of Mantachie; grandchildren, Caleb, Cansas, Jimmie, Chantam, Devin, Abagail, Keria, Gage, Christian, Kaylee, Jayden, Micah and Courtney; great-grandchildren, Aubrey and Caiden; sister, Patricia Seats Cope (Mark Cope) of Hartford City, Indiana; adopted father, Harold Ellison of Upland, Indiana.   He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Michael Coleman.   There will be private family services.   Expressions of sympathy may be left at www.peguesfuneralhome.com .
