Mike Hardin

Guntown- Bennie Mike Hardin, 72, died Sunday, June 30, 2019 at North Mississippi Medical Center. He was born in Pontotoc June 25, 1947 to Andrew Crosely “Andy” and Catherine Lambert Hardin. He was a graduate of Pontotoc High School and attended both Itawamba Community College and Mississippi State University. On November 19, 1972, he married Julene Atkins. Mike enjoyed collecting antiques and old toys with his wife and was a member of the Pontotoc Masonic Lodge. He was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Julene Hardin; son, Steven Hardin and his wife, Lawanda of Guntown; grandson, Kane Hardin of Guntown; three step-grandsons, Preston Robertson, Ethan Robertson and Evan Robertson; and brother, Rick Hardin of Pontotoc.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, William Hardin.

Visitation will be 1 p.m. until service time Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at W.E. Pegues, Saltillo.

Services will be 3p.m. Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at the Saltillo Chapel of W.E. Pegues with Rev. Tim Green officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Greg Hall, David Hall, Phil Atkins, Jeff Cummings, Nick Humber and Dean Mitchell.

Honorary pallbearer will be Len Welch.
