Tupelo- Mary Elizabeth Weaver, 86, died Monday, January 23, 2023, at North Mississippi Medical Center. She was a lifelong Tupelo native, born on February 16, 1936, to Osley and Odean Clark. She retired from VF Factory Outlet after a number of years and several other careers. She had a green thumb and enjoyed tending her flowers and being outdoors fishing. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Mary is survived by her daughter, Kay Tucker (Clark); two sons, Tim Howell (Tricia), and George Weaver; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Gerald D. Howell, and Robert K. Weaver; five sisters; and two brothers.

Visitation will be 9 a.m. until service time Wednesday, January 25, 2023, at Pegues, Tupelo.

Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 25, 2023, at the Jefferson Street Chapel of Pegues with Rev. Troy McConnell officiating and Craig Sanders providing the eulogy. Private graveside services will follow at Gilvo Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Craig Sanders, Jason Howell, Charlie Tucker, John Scott Kelly, Terry Davis, and Roger Dillard. John Henry Kelly will serve as the honorary pallbearer.
