    May 4, 1951 - September 10, 2011

    Obituary for Mary H. Hannah Saltillo - Mary H. Hannah, 60, died Saturday, September 10, 2011, at Sanctuary Hospice House after a brief stay. She has now gone to join her heavenly father whom she loved so dearly. She was born May 4, 1951 in Marks to Joe Willie and Betty Smith Ransom. She was a devoted mother to her only son, Timmy. She was a member of Christian Life Center in Guntown and she touched many lives with her strong faith in the Lord. She will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her. Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, September 13, 2011 at Old Birmingham Ridge Cemetery. W. E. Pegues Funeral Directors in Saltillo is in charge of the arrangements. Survivors include her son,Timmy Davis (Kristen) of Saltillo; seven sisters, Shirley Woodard of St.Louis, MO, Joanne Sandifer (Vernon) of Drew, Carolyn Hodge (Tom) of Houston, Lynda Russell (Danny) of Houlka, Betsy Whitlow of Auburn Community, Pat Lee (Robert) of Pratts Community, Mary Jo Ransom of Oxford,; six brothers, James Ransom (Christy) of Murfreesboro, TN, Danny Ransom of Charleston, Fred Ransom (Jeanette) of New Albany, Billy Ransom of Verona, Jody Ransom (Jodi) of Tupelo and Claude Ransom (Cindi) of Palmetto Community; her in-laws, Henry Archie and Carol Hamblin. She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Omar Davis and Frank Carter. Visitation will be 10 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, September 13, 2011 at the Saltillo Funeral Home.
