Mary E. Sandlin

MARY E. SANDLIN Saltillo - Mary E. Sandlin, 85, died January 16, 2016, at North Mississippi Medical Center. She was born September 26, 1930, to George and Mary Putt. She was a lifelong resident of Saltillo where she lived with her husband, Cecil Sandlin, for 47 years. Mary was a member of Mayfield Church of Christ. She enjoyed afternoon coffee with family and friends. Services will be held Monday, January 19, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the Saltillo Chapel of W.E. Pegues with Dr. Chuck Herring and Bro. Clyde Mize officiating. Survivors include sons, John Sandlin and Sammy Sandlin; daughter-in-law, Kim Sandlin; grandchildren, Dena Griggs (Bob), Suzanne Rice (Hugh), Robby Sandlin (Stacey), Mary Grace Hall (Scotty), Justin Sandlin and Noel Kizer (Colt) all of Saltillo, Nikki Barilleaux of St. Amant, La., Jessie Huske of Oxford, Krista Huske of Howe, Tex., and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Cecil Sandlin; son, Bobby Sandlin; brothers, George W. Putt and Danny Putt, Sr.; sisters, Shirley Kelly and Betty Marie Hedge and grandchildren, Sandy Sandlin Finkle and Kirk Sandlin. Pallbearers will be Bob Griggs, Chase, Griggs, Bram Finkle, Jessie Huske, Hugh Rice, Will Rice, Scotty Hall, and Isaac Hall. Expressions of sympathy may be left at www.peguefuneralhome.com .
