    September 14, 1935 - January 5, 2018

    Mama Sue Jenkins Tupelo- Mary Sue Jenkins, 82, died Friday, January 5, 2018 at the North Mississippi Medical Center. She was born in Cullman County, Alabama on September 14, 1935 to Eugene Jenkins and Florence Ethel Vest Jenkins. She was more known by her family and friends by Mama Sue. Mama Sue was a member of Living Waters Community Church and loved gospel singing. Playing the super Nintendo and watching horror movies was Mama Sue favorite past times. She loved spending time with her family. Mama Sue was survived by five children, Linda Farris of Mantachie, Dewayne Hunt of Blue Springs, Pam Fleming and her husband, Leroy of Tupelo, Elvin Hunt and his wife, Trish of Fulton and Lisa Reed and her husband, Robert of Mooreville; three sister, Jean Hill of Nettleton, Marie Wilson of Cullman County, Alabama and Shirley Alvis of Nettleton; 18 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Hythn and Nancy and brothers, Doug and James. Visitation will be 4 until 7 p.m. Saturday, January 6, 2018 at W. E. Pegues, Tupelo. Services will be 3:30 p.m. Sunday, January 7, 2018 at the Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Bro. Paul Carlson officiating with graveside services to follow at Doty Chapel. Pallbearers will be Johnny Oswalt, Donnie Winfrey, Jason Brock, Bronson Brown, Micheal Kendall, Zachary Hunt and Ricky Franks. The service will be live streamed and recorded for those who may not be able to attend at www.peguesfuneralhome.com. Expressions of sympathy may be left at www.peguesfuneralhome.com.
