Tupelo - Kevin Michael Williams, 45, passed away Sunday, May 19, 2019, at his parents residence in Saltillo after a long, valiant battle with illness. He was born in Montgomery, Alabama February 5, 1974, to Timothy Rowland and Glennis Elizabeth Williams. He was a 1992 graduate of New Hope High School and went on to receive his Bachelors degree in Theory and Music Composition from Samford University in Birmingham. On August 9, 1997, he married his high school sweetheart, Christian Studdard. Kevin had dedicated his life to God and sharing his musical gifts and talents through leading others in worship in many churches and events throughout the United States. He worked as a personal banker for Cadence Bank in Columbus for four years. Kevin loved spending time with his family and friends, listening to music and watching a good movie. He was a member of Harrisburg Baptist Church in Tupelo.

Survivors include his wife, Christian Studdard Williams of Tupelo; daughter, Ella Katherine Williams of the home; son, Michael Isaiah "Chael" Williams of the University of Southern Mississippi; parents, Timothy and Glennis Williams of Saltillo; brother, David Williams and his wife, Debbie of Germantown, Tennessee; four nieces; and two nephews.

Services honoring his life will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at Harrisburg Baptist Church with Dr. Gary Permenter officiating. A reception celebrating his life will follow services from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall at the church. Graveside services will follow at 4 p.m. in Beersheba Cumberland Presbyterian Church Historical Cemetery in New Hope with Rev. Tim Lee officiating.

Pallbearers will be David Williams, Jerry Studdard, Drew Hughes, Atwell Daves, Paul Bouchillon, Jim Stanzell, Mark Halbert and Drew Love.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Wes Asters, Kevin Wood, Gary Wright, Adam Garner, Jay Ward, Rob Sevilla, John Quacka and Adam Clayton.

Memorials may be made to the University of Alabama of Birmingham (UAB) Neuro-Oncology Program for Brain Tumors, 510 20th St. S FOT Room 1020 Birmingham, Alabama 35294.
