Saltillo—KC Floyd, 72, passed away Sunday, January 3, 2021 at his home in Saltillo. He was born February 7, 1948 in West Point, the son of Minor and Lucille Cox Floyd. He worked as a heavy equipment operator with the Lee County road crew. H always stayed busy, working in his yard or tinkering on his truck. He will be greatly missed by his devoted family.
KC leaves behind his wife of 55 years, Jane Floyd; two children, Renee Hall (Bruce) of Saltillo and Timothy Floyd (Pam) of Sherman; five grandchildren, Spencer Floyd (Amanda), Cody Floyd (Nicole), Casie Floyd (Jody), Amy Hall, and Arron Hall (Hailey); six great-grandchildren, Ezra, June, Kason, Alisa, Tristian, and Walker Kyle; and his brother, Charles Floyd (Evon) of Florida.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Johnny Floyd.
The family will honor is life with a memorial service at a later date.
